BetterCart AI is designed to compare packaged foods using structured product facts where available.

Relevant product facts may include nutrition labels, ingredient lists, serving size, package weight, product category, brand information, retailer listing information, and manufacturer-provided updates.

Public datasets, retailer pages, brand pages, and affiliate product feeds can each have different coverage. A product may have a UPC but missing ingredients, or a retailer listing may include price and availability but not full nutrition facts.

When a data field is missing, we try not to infer a positive claim from that absence. Missing data should be treated as uncertainty until a more reliable source is available.

Users should verify current package labels and retailer information before purchase, especially for allergens, ingredients, nutrition facts, price, and availability.
